Artist Statement:

Eucalypt Daydream was painted during a period of prolonged illness while confined to my lounge room. This piece represents a daydream, an escape into the serene beauty of the natural world from within the constraints of my surroundings. The painting captures the wonder of the Australian landscape, focusing on the golden hues of eucalypt trees. Through the thick, textured brushwork, the work evokes the tactile experience of nature and the healing power of art. It reflects my deep need to connect with the outside world, using the act of painting as a means of disassociation and exploration.
